Motoring offences
In accordance with the Solicitors' Regulatory Transparency Rules we provide a fixed fee structure for many straightforward motoring cases. We can offer a fixed fee so you are aware what you will pay and what is covered in that fee.
Our fixed fees
- Guilty plea at Magistrates Court£600 plus VAT
- Exceptional hardship applications£800 plus VAT
- Not guilty plea and representation at trial£800 plus VAT (half day), £1200 plus VAT (full day)
What the fixed fee covers
What a fixed fee includes
- Initial telephone conference to obtain instructions
- Review of the allegation and available evidence
- All communication with the police, Crown Prosecution Service and courts
- Meeting with you, in person or via Teams/Zoom to discuss the case and take full instructions
- Advice on plea, procedure and likely outcome
- Taking statements from witnesses and proof of evidence from you if necessary
- Representation at the Magistrates Court
- Advice on appeal
What a fixed fee does not include
- Instruction of experts and preparation of reports
- Additional court hearings beyond those agreed
- Appeals
Travel and payment
The cost of travelling to any court other than Boston or Lincoln will incur a fee of £50.00 plus VAT per hour for travel and 55p per mile.
FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO THE COURT HEARING.
